What the heck? All i wanted to do was try to find some foreclosed properties to browse cant find squat. Every web page wants some kind a membership fee. Is there a way to find this information without having to give some vulture my money. I need to spend my money on the property not frickin locating it.

You can find repossessed homes in your local newspaper under Notices, foreclosures. You can also contact the office of Housing and Urban Development at your State level for HUD repossessed homes. The sale of these homes is designated to a certain realtor in the area, HUD will advise you who to contact. Tax sales also come up in the area (best buys ever) every few years, contact your local tax assessor's office at the County level. These sites you are looking at (for a fee) will tell you exactly the same thing I just did (and I did it for free!) Good Luck!

Foreclosed property is public record. Seek out "Free" in your google search. Nothing should cost you money to see foreclosed properties!!!!!!

Go to your local sheriff's office. They will post properties for sale there and tell you where and when you have to show up to bid.

Depending on the state you live in you can contact your county assessor's office.
