How do you deal w/ one of your family members when it seems like you all are competing?
I have this cousin in my family, and she's 1 year younger than me. It seems like me and her have this little "competition" going on. It's like this, say for instance if i get a new flip fone better than hers, she convinces her mom to buy her one thats better than mines. Then i get a new Baby Phat coat, then she tries to get one too. The list just goes on and on. When we see each other its like she acts phony and fake towards me and my sister. And i try to be nice because you know we're family, but sometimes i get fed up and just say skip it. It's weird because sometimes she has those days where she feels like opening up and talking about boys and stuf, then other days she acts like she doesnt even know i exist.....What do you do with someone like this?

Not much, just treat her nice whenever possible and go on with your business. You can't help what she does. Maybe she is jealous of you. Do you get more material things than she does? Is that how you both define how well you are doing or how good you look? If so, you may need to think about the whole thing and consider not mentioning the new material things you have. That isn't what it's really all about with family especially. Good luck.

Don't buy into it .A person can't compete if she has no one to compete with. My younger sister is like that with me. I just let her talk and bragg and eventually she winds up looking stupid because she put all her business out there like that. I actually show her better than I can tell her and say nothing at all.

When $hit like this happens, just hold your head up high and be proud that somebody wants to be like you. U could also look at this as u being a good person, cuz who wants to be just like someone bad?

you should be bold with her, someone who competes needs to be spoken to in an extreme way(not MeaN) , kind of like a coach to his football player! u should just be BluNt and ask her: "why are u trying to compete with me, what do you get out of it , i say we put this competing aside and just be TWO bad Azz B itches!!!!!" LOL.......two is beTTEr than one! GooD LuCk!!!!

when someone copies you, it should be viewed as the highest form of flattery. she must really think youre someone she wants to be like, and thats a good thing--a compliment to you
