Hey WHITIES! If someone called you a "CRACKER" would it offend you?
It doesn't offend me, but nothing really offends me. Is it even considered a racial epithet? How come there isn't a term that infuriates white people the way....well I'll just leave it there. CRACKA AZZ CRACKA! No don't get mad, I'm white. Its all good.

If someone called me a cracker I'd be extremely pleased (Cracker in UK means exceptionaly good. for example: "she's a cracker" would be a way of saying a girl is particularly attractive. cracker also means the thing you pull at christmas dinner and a tasty biscuit served with cheese!)
Anyway, nothing really offends me, its just language, just words

As a Cracka, I must admit that it doesn't bother me in the least.
Truly, I get a giggle out of anybody that thinks I would be offended by name calling. I find that I feel superior to these people, because it reminds me of the kindergarten playground, tattle-taling, name callers!!!!

It depends on the attitude and other words of the person who is saying it. The words by themselves don't have any effect on me. There is one term that does, but I'll just keep that to myself. It technically doesn't apply to me anyway. And the word is not racist--I'm actually getting used to that.

I wouldn't actually be offended, but I'd probably make some joke like "That's our word, man, you can't say that!" To try and make them feel uncomfortable.

there is nothing behind it. Words are just words untill somone makes them mean somthing. If for hundeds of years whites were opressed and called cracker it would be offencive but they weren't so its just a word.

I'm Canadian and we ( collectively ) would love to know what the heck that means and where it came from. What does it mean?

I think it means we are white, but salty and delicious.
Oh , and especially good when you eat cheese or other toppings off us. :)

i agree with windfishfighter.. Its whatever that word is associated with. you could call someone a chair and have no more meaning that calling them a cracker.
