Cornered by a car?

I am asking about the right vocabulary for the following situation. When I am driving a car in the street, suddenly another car is trying to overtake me. But when that car is beside me, it comes nearer my car so that the distance between that car and my car is closer. What do you say for this situation? Is that car 'cornering' mine? What word should I use?

Try the phrase "crowding my car" or, 'he was squeezing me over to the shoulder of the road."
