I have a question about shares (stock). Logically, when many people sell in the stock-exchange the shares which they hold (either physically or in future trading), then the stock-exchange will buy the shares and other people will buy the shares.

However, if the company's reputation falls, more and more people will sell its shares, and very few people will buy them. Where will the shares end up? Who will finally hold the unsellable shares? Who will suffer the loss as a consequence of having those 'bad' shares.

While the phrase "the house of John" is certainly correct. Thank you very much.

A. Mostly because they need answers from which they can get the INFORMATION and IDEAS that they need.

B. Mostly because they are stressed or frustrated and they somehow speak out their bitterness trying to release their bad feelings (emotions).

C. Mostly because they have certain beliefs and they ask questions with the motive of cornering or "hitting" others with words, or some sort like that.

I have seen that (almost) all writers here (those who ask and answer questions) don't put their real photos and most probably don't expose their real names either (perhaps including myself - most of you never know). Why do you think so? Give me your best answer:

A. They are afraid people will know who they are, because they have posted shameful silly malicious ideas.

B. They are very humble and don't want others to know who they are when the readers want to praise them.

Biasanya salah satu angkanya plus atau minus saja, tapi dalam soal di atas kok -241 dan 241 yah? Gimana cara menjawabnya?

Is this sentence wrong:

"By the time I am 40, I will have been traveling around the world."

I think it is correct, first, because it may mean that the activity of "traveling" has been repeated several times, and second, because perhaps by then I will still be traveling around the world.

My some one says the sentence above is wrong, it should be:

"By the time I am 40, I will have traveled around the world."

I live in a country where English is a foreign language, and I would like to know the meaning of "No soliciting", which is written as a public notice. Please help me understand it.

I checked in the dictionary and found that soliciting means "when someone offers to have sex for money." But I am not convinced that a public sign would say such a thing.

I’m asking about a word, but I have difficulty telling you what word I need. Let me try. You see, I have a cell phone, but I can’t make a call or send a sort message. I have to buy a card first, at the back of which there is a number that I need to input into the cell phone. In this case, what do I have to say about what I buy? What am I buying? I buy a voucher card, or I buy …. what?

Another thing to do is to transfer some money to an account via automatic telling machine, then they will send something into my cell phone. When I check it, it says something like you still have 20 dollar and valid until 15 March. So, what do I have in my cell phone that I can use for making phone calls? Is it a deposit worth 20 dollar or what?

I like drinking sweet tea and coffee, and I have heard people say drinking too much sugar can lead to diabetes. Yet, some other people say that diabetes are caused by our bad internal organ (liver, pancreas, kidney, or something) and not by the amount of sugar we consume. Please throw me some light.
