A simple subject is a noun or a pronoun. However, in order to have a complete simple sentence, you'd have to have a verb, also. Then you could fancy it up with an adjective. To make it more complex, you might also make use of the adverb. Do you understand the parts of speech, or are you testing our ability? If you're testing mine, you've met a formidable adversary.
