Mosquito bite remedy?

I have the same reaction to mosquito bites; b/c pastes are not always handy, I carry a tube of extra strength hydrocortisone in every purse, bag, backpack, luggage that I have. The tubes don't take up any real amount of room, and this stuff works very well if I apply a good size dollop and rub it in thoroughly right after being bitten. Keep reapplying until the bump goes away. Some people have better results with benadryl cream, but it doesn't work for me. If your daughter is school age, you can send a tube in her backpack and tell her how to use it. Good luck.

Immediately put a paste of salt and baking soda on the bite to draw out the bite a bit. And afterwards, ice it to help reduce the swelling and the itch. A doctor might be able to make suggestions about how to reduce the effects of the allergy.

Take some baking soda from your kitchen, and with some warm water make a paste. Apply this to the affected area. The baking soda draws out the "poison". Remember, baking soda's scientific name is sodium bicarbonate, that means it's a salt. We all know salt dries stuff up! There in lies your answer! Don't ask me how to keep a kid from scratching...that is a scientific mystery!

nose spray/drops with antihistamine, such as Vicks nasal spray or Afrin. Also for bee or wasp stings Adolphs meant tenderizer, make a past out of it using a little water. Also a product you can get called After Bite.
