Are people in heaven ghosts, if not, what do they eat?

People in heaven are saints, spirits(ghosts), or angels. People in heaven are still Christian even though the flesh is dead, the spirit is with God and part of the One Body of Christ.

If not why would Jesus descend to the dead after His death, and before His Resurrection. Of course they are our brothers and sisters in Christ! God did not forget His promise to His creation.

Jesus conquered Death! Alleluia! Praise Be Jesus Christ! It is the very reason for our Hope, our Salvation.

No they are Spirit, ghost are on earth, then at one point in Haven your Spirit would get a new body that would last forever, you can eat if you like:)
