What is the definition of friendship?

to care for another person, emotionally and spiritually, wanting thier happiness, being able to exchange the good times and the bad, being there to support each other. offering advice when asked for, and listening when not asked for. Hard to find good friends so cherish them when you do!!

Kinda like 1 Corinthians 13.

To never be judgemental and to always be there for

them. THAT is the definition of friendship.

I've written an essay on this subject, so there is no short answer. John D. McDonald wrote that a friend is someone to whom you can say any fool thing that enters your head. That's not my sister. Mac is on the right track, but there is much more.

it's not something that you can find only in persons that you've known for a long time already. i believe friendship is there to make us believe that we're never alone through anything at all... happiness, sadness... you can find friendship anywhere that you can find belongingness... not just in the arms of your peers when you hug or talk about things.. it's everywhere, in your parents, your brothers or sisters, you neighbors, your pet,... everywhere. ^_^

To never judge them, Trust, To be there for ur friend when noone else Is, To help each other through the good and or bad times, To give each other the best advice as you can.

the definition of friendship is

a strong bond between beings,

fueled by acceptance, respect, and love

the one who will listen to you tell the same story 50 times, will let you complain about the same crap everyday, will listen to you cry, will laugh with you (and at you), will just be there when you need that extra bit of unconditional love...

A friend is a person that knows you very well, ( has seen your ugly side) and still likes you.
