Why does all asian food smell weird?
My foreign exchange roommates from Korea always cook food that I can't stand the smell of! I hate waking up every morning to the smell of something so odd. Right now I'm breathing through my shirt trying to smell my laundry detergent because they are cooking and it smells!Our microwave officilly smells like Korean food and I'm afraid to put any of my food in it without it smelling. I honestly would rather smell my own fart than their food. It's driving crazy!!! I wonder if they think that a frozen pizza smells weird?

I'm not into some foods and the smell makes me sick. Yes she probably thinks some foods you would cook smells odd. Because of the different seasonings and herbs.

When I hit the box that said "Answer This Question" I thought I would answer a guestion. Your so called questoin is more of an opinion which is OK for you to think that Asian food smells bad but lets try to be a little more open minded and think before we ask ....opinions?

a good type of asians imagine individuals smell undesirable because of ways a lot cheese we eat. each and every subculture has their own customs, meals and smells. I take position to easily like the smell of curry. One suggestion: somewhat of Vick's vaporub below your nostrils ought to help you tolerate a smell that you dislike.

It's just that ur not used to that type of food, yes the food u eat probably smells weird to them also.

I'm sure our food smells weird to other cultures as well.
Cultural diversity is a good thing, expand your mind, try to see other cultures in a positive light, there is a lot to be said for open mindedness :)

You're right. Asian food does smell nasty. I wonder if it's those wacky spices they use. The meats aren't different than ours. Or are they?
