  • Incidents occurring at my job?

I work at a family owned business at a mall *been there for about 5 years*. The family relies on my a lot to make sure the store runs smoothly. A few times my female coworker has come to me saying that the manager who is in his 60s has been saying inappropriate sexual things to her. She has told him repeatedly not say things like that to her and has even threatened to quit. He in the end always says that he was joking with her but she feels very uncomfortable around him. I believe her because 1) this isn't the first time she has come to me about it, 2) another incident like this happened to another female worker where my manager was walking by the sink while she was washing the dishes, claimed he slipped on the wet floor while she was washing dishes and to break his fall he "accidentally" grabbed her behind thinking he was grabbing the sink. I believed this other girl too and she ended up quitting because of it. The family believes that she was making things up but I don't think so.

Only one time has he said something inappropriate to me but I let it slide. The problem is that he is the father of his two sons who own the store and are also kind of like the managers there. I'm really good friends with the family but I want the two brothers to know that their father is saying and doing inappropriate things to the female workers as well as the male workers and it's important that they say something to him about it.

I don't know how to tell them that their father is acting inappropriately. He is also very mean to the guys at my job to. He thinks that every boy is a criminal who is going to steal from the store. My brother works with me and the manager is always saying that my brother is a bad egg blah blah and I want to tell him to shut up because he doesn't know my brother's personal life. My manager has no idea that I will quit this job to protect my brother. My parents know that my brother hangs out with people who are not great influences and that he smokes weed but they have talked to him about it and have it under control. My manager thinks that my brother is like his friends and thinks that my parents are not handling the situation. He has no idea that I will side with my brother before I side with this family. I want to tell him to be a parent to his kids not my brother. Ok I'm going off tangent LOL

How do I tell the two sons that their father is acting inappropriately to my coworkers without offending them? I know it's hard to swallow the fact that your own father is acting like this and I'm nervous that they won't believe me or my coworkers. I feel like I'm the middle man because I'm friends with my coworkers but also with the family. I'm kind of like my coworkers' spoke person and I want their concerns to be voiced.

I currently cannot quit this job right now so quitting is out of the question.

    Only serious answers please.

  • Classroom etiquette for college?

It's only been 2 days since classes has started for college and there is already one girl in my class that everyone is annoyed with. This girl is very opinionated and is constantly commenting loudly on the professors points. It's gotten to the point to where it's very distracting to the topic at hand. For example, we were talking about what we deem is criminal. One student made a reference to Nazis and Jews. This girl made a comment saying that "Duh, the Jews were considered criminals because if they went against the Nazis commands their @ss would be f*cking torched up in a cement block and thrown into a wooden box". I thought the comment was a little out there.

Also when she does comment on something she tends to use profanity all the time. I don't mind profanity but I think in an academic setting (especially in a class filled with juniors/seniors) you can use other descriptive words in the English dictionary to describe your feelings on something.

  • Color Ink Cartride problem for HP PSC 1600 All-in-one series?

A few days ago I printed something but then realized that it wasn't what I wanted to print. So I went to the printing window and clicked cancel but it didn't so I shut off my printer. Then I turned it on and now it says to "remove and check color cartridge". I've done this before and my printer has functioned normally so I don't know what to do. I know that I probably shouldn't have shut it off like that. My black cartridge works fine. I barely use my color cartridge and I checked the ink levels as well as the expiration date and everything is fine. I even performed updates on my printer. I then cleaned the nozzle areas (not the nozzle plate) put it back in and I still get the same message. I read over my manual and it was no help. The warranty is up. I seriously want to throw it in my pool! I've read all of the answers here regarding to this but none have the same problem as mine.

Can anyone help? Should I get a new printer. Or should I buy bite the bullet and spend $20 on new ink?

  • My dog has warts.?

My dog has a large wart on the bottom of her neck. The Vet said it was fine but because it itches she scratches it to where it starts to bleed. We can't put those cones on her because she will just go crazy with it on. Because it is an open wound we are afraid that it will be infected. We've been putting hydrogen peroxide on it when she does bust it open and then medical gauze but she just scratches it off. Any suggestions on how to cover the open wart or prevent her from scratching it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

  • Is it safe to use baking soda or vinegar on a pain of jeans?

After washing my jeans they began to smell weird. It's not a nasty or gross odor it just doesn't smell like the deferent I use to wash them in. I've tried everything from washing them in hot and cold water, using different soaps and fabric softener and dryer sheets. I've tied Febreeze as well...

If I use baking soda or vinegar should I soak the jeans in the water with it or put it in the washer? Thanks to all serious answers :)

  • Problems with mp3 player?

Maybe about 2 years ago I got a Creative Micro Zen mp3 player and a couple of days ago it wouldn't turn on. I recharged it and it worked fine. The next day I go to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on again. It's never done this before. Does that mean that I need to replace the battery with a new one? If I do replace the battery will I lose any of the music I have on it? Is the battery even the problem?

Also when I want to organize or synchronize music to it, my laptop no longer recognizes it nor the USB cable plugged into it. Does anyone know why that maybe? I tried downloading any updates from the Creative website but it wouldn't recognize the player.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

  • I'm having problems with my mother?

I live in the dorms and usually every night my mom calls me to makes sure I'm ok (gets very annoying sometimes and she's such a worrywart). Last night I called her and she sounded weird on the phone. Usually when we talk she does all of the talking but this time there was like total silence on the phone so I got fed up and asked to talk to my dad. From my dad I found out that she was drunk which really pissed me off. I needed to talk to her about some personal problems and she wasn't even there to listen.

I spent the entire night crying to myself because she really hurt me that way. Now I don't even want to hear the sound of her vioce it makes me so pissed off. I would have wished she didn't answered the phone than talk to me on the phone drunk! What kind of example are you showing your kids? I mean if I talked on the phone to her while I was drunk she would kill me!

Am I being too dramatic? I feel weird confronting her about this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

  • I need help with my foreign exchange roommate?

Ok, I share a dorm room with 3 other girls. One of them is a foreign echange girl from Korea. The 3 of us are having problems adjusting with her. We all agreed with our RA that from 10pm-10am that the air conditioning remain on because we all get really hot at night when it's off. Every other night/morning she wakes up and turns on the heater. Then one of us get's up to turn the AC on.

We've told her that we all agreed for the AC to be on and to not change it but she still does anyways. We even gave her blankets and a portable heater for her to use at night. Whether she uses them I'm not sure.

ALSO: The 3 of us are not use to the cooking smells of korean cooking. It's a quite pungent and strong and every morning around 7:30 am she cooks her breakfast which is like fried spam and onions.

This is all becoming really annoying and I'm want to tell her this but in a nice way .Please help us before we all kill her. LOL! Thanks...

  • I need some help with coming up with injustices...?

I need some help trying to come up with some social and economic injustices in the US. I can't do anything that deals with immigration, military, racial profiling and stereotyping. My initial idea was that I was going to find injustices dealing with financial aide but I can't really find enough info to back up my claims.

If anyone can help or give an idea that would be most appreciated! Thanks!

  • How do you get rid of kitchen smell?

When my roommates cook, the smell of the food seems to linger in our kitchen for DAYS! It kind of irritates me because the smells are so pungant and strong. I've tried febreze, lysol (sp?), burning candels, and leaving all the windows open. Nothing seems to get rid of the smells. Can you maybe help me? Thanks.

  • Would you rather be here or...?

checking your myspace every 5 minutes to see if someone left you a post? I personally don't have myspace but I would rather help people with their questions and get a few laughs out of reading people's comments than doing the myspace thing.

  • Why does all asian food smell weird?

My foreign exchange roommates from Korea always cook food that I can't stand the smell of! I hate waking up every morning to the smell of something so odd. Right now I'm breathing through my shirt trying to smell my laundry detergent because they are cooking and it smells! Our microwave officilly smells like Korean food and I'm afraid to put any of my food in it without it smelling. I honestly would rather smell my own fart than their food. It's driving crazy!!! I wonder if they think that a frozen pizza smells weird?
