Listing is really easy, but keep in mind that Half.com takes out a portion of the money that you earn from the book. It's free to list the item, but if you list it for $50 and it sells, you won't get the full $50 for the book. Make sure to read the details and agreements on the website before posting any books for sale. Selling on Ebay only costs you something like 40 cents to post, but books don't always sell as well or as quickly on there because not everyone wants to wait for an auction to end, but it's an option. I also sell my books on Amazon.com, which sells really well, but again, they take out a commission. Remember, you can always post the same book on multiple websites in hopes to sell it quickly, just be sure to check on the status often and remove it from sale on any other websites as soon as it sells. Good luck!

Yes! It's a step-by-step process to list your items (I just listed yesterday). When someone buys your books, Half.com will send you an email with the buyer's name address, etc. You just mail the books off and a week or two later Half.com deposits the money into your checking account. Simple! And you'll probably make more than you would selling back to your campus book store, too.

Haven't sold any but bought most of my daughter's texts there for this fall semester. You should be able to get more for your books than selling them back to the school's bookstore, and the buyer also gets a better deal. Just make sure you read about the conditions so you list things properly and don't get complaints.
Go for it!

Yes! I used it during college--and ended up getting more money than I would have at the book store. Just make sure you get paid before you send anything out.
