A few weeks ago a friend of mine broke a car window.. i stood there waiting for the owner of the vehicle so i could let them know what happened and pay them for it. Turns out the police was called. At that piont i told them i kninda knew the guy that did the damage, but i still offered to pay it. They said it wasnt my problem and took my information down andd told me to leave. They asked me a few questions and i said i didnt know. It wasnt a burglary, just property damage. He was upset and hit the window.. They ended up calling the cops and i was questioned. I only gave his name.. Now a few weeks later, i am receiving calls from detectives. i was busy when i spoke to the detective and said i didnt have any information or contact with that person. Now its 2 days later and they left a message saying if i do not wish for them to come to my parents house, that i should call back. I do not wish to answer any questions, since i do not want to get involved, so my question is how do i keep them away from me. I am pregnant and have health problems and i dont want to stress out over this matter... thannks in advance.

i am looking to replace my car battery. i have been reading about how walmart sells batteries at a cheap price. My question is which is the best battery to buy at walmart. i have seen diff brands and i have heard of johnson controls distributing batterries for walmart. will they be as good as Auto zone duralast or diehard batteries? thanks in advance.

I use to work for a company for about 2 years, during that time i didnt get any break for 4-5 and even 6 hour shifts ( I stood there because i needed the money ) and also it turned out that my deductions that where taken from my salary where not reported . I stopped working there months ago and filed a claim. During the last weeks i made a few of my time cards copy, Now my question is, i'm going to court and i only have half a years worth of copies. I have requested the copies from him, but i have not gotten a response. is there any department i should contact so i can get those copies. I was told a while back by law he had to keep them for 2 years and the employee was able to request them, If anyone knows i would highly appreciate it. Thanks in advance :)

I got a temp crown put on a tooth and i am having shooting pains when i touch it with tongue. Not so much when i eat anymore due to taking amoxillin, but only when i touch it with my tongue. I feel there is sort of an opening at the bottom of the temp crown and its not really *hugging* my tooth persay. I have another tooth that also has a temp crown but that one is completely wrapped around the tooth and i feel no pain in that one. What can possibly be causing the throbbing pain :( !!

I have a some music a friend of mine send to me a while back. She put the cds in mp3 format to fit on the DVD-R. Its over 40 cds of music. I am able to read the files on my computer but it takes a long time to load the dvd-r. When i do see the files i open the file it's blank. When I tried burning the file i was able to get 2 extra files from the file (but my computer kind of freezed ). I know there is music because a friends friend was able to burn me at least 15 cds from here. My question is how do i do this myself?? How do i get the mp3 or wma to my computer, when my comp is not reading it and taking a long time to read the dvd-r. Do i need a special program to download. Thanks in advance.

I purchased a domain name from Go Daddy, and was starting a website from one of there site builder "website tonite", and found it hard. However, I already have a website from tripod wich was way easier and the background looks way better. Is it possible to somehow link or host my website from tripod to my new domain name from Go Daddy since my domain name has a .com ? Plz help. Thanks in advance.

ever since i can remeber ,starting in highschool. i use to find 1 playing card in weird places. outside my house doorstep, alleys, school, the bustop. sometimes 5 a day. it was really weird, sometimes in weird places. it happened for years on and off. then it stopped. until today i found one in front of me just as i stepped out the car. just one. what does that mean??? is it just my luck or does it mean something???

there is a duck in front of my house. there are 2 big pitbulls that i'm afraid might come out. i called the animal shelter and they didn't seen to care and said the duck could fly away, but this duck seems to not want to leave and i'm not sure if it's hurt. the park is half a block away , but i tried taking him back but it doesn't work. who do i call, besides the animal shelter here in los angeles??? it seems to me the duck got stranded or was just dropped off cause he didn't want to go back to the park and it's not moving, just walking back and forth. please help!!!

i asked a question days ago about removing a trojan virus. i had the yahoo online protection and adware, but it didn't seem to read it nor remove the virus. so i tried panda. panda did however remove some other stuff that it detected as harmful to my computer. but it says there was 4 other things that couldn'tbe removed and it was renamed. my question is should i leave it a that or how do i get rid of the trojan vrus i still have. it is a RUNDLL and it says wo3a2bd88.dd ( i don't know much about computers so i'm not sure what these mean). i wanted to go back to the initial restarting point or to a nother restarting point but my computer doesn't let me . i have an HP desktop. how can i go back or how can i get rid of this trojan virus. please help. thanks!.

i have seen these really nice capet years ago in an office. i remember it was so thick that it made you want to walk barefoot. it was white and furry looking. i want to get a carpet for a room in the new house i'm moving too. but i'm not sure what's the name of this carpet? also if anyone knows where is a good place to buy acarpet from, somewhere where it's not so expensive and done real good. thanks!

i have the flu for like a week and a half now. finally i'm starting to breath again, since my nose was stuffed. i'm now caughing and sometimes pleghms come out, which is nasty and i have to throw up. i feel terrible, cause my chest hurts of caughing too much. 2 days ago i notice my left eye is closed full of dry stuff all around in the morning. so i have to take it off, so i can see. i think it's like mucus or some dry stuff. and through out the day it was so red. today i woke up and my other eye, the two eyes now where full of this junk stuff so i couldn't see. i was scared. i just removed it from the corners and top of eyelashes and washed my face. is this normal when you get sick or sinuses. i read awhile ago that eyes consist of oils, water and mucus. so can this be part of that since i'm sick. please help.

i was wondering since i'm getting married, will my loans affect my husband in any way. i got student loans and haven't payed for them. i have a deferment right now. i was still going to school, after getting my first degree, but dropped it to look for a job. i know i will start paying my loans soon. but if i happen to miss some payments or if something happens will he have to pay them or will that ruin his credit. i heard from some people that the lenders will go after the spouse. is this true??
