I need some help with coming up with injustices...?
I need some help trying to come up with some social and economic injustices in the US. I can't do anything that deals with immigration, military, racial profiling and stereotyping. My initial idea was that I was going to find injustices dealing with financial aide but I can't really find enough info to back up my claims.
If anyone can help or give an idea that would be most appreciated! Thanks!

How about the injustice that The Presidents Parents are having their medical services paid for by the same People that the People receiving Medicaid are having theirs paid by, You and I, and Everyone, but the care They receive is very different. My Friends Mother had Cancer, it had gotten so bad that it had deteriorated Her knee. The knee specialist supposedly didn't even catch it. She was in SO much pain She had to be Hospitalized on numerous occassions. Her Physician, and pain managment providers both dropped Her because while in the Hospital 5 different Doctors prescribed pain medication, All at different times, because Her Doctor was not available. They accused Her and Her Daughter of going to many Doctors to obtain pain medications. That Hospital said She was fine and sent Her home, even refusing to admit Her again when She became worse. I remember talking to My Friend on the phone and She told Me, as She cried, My Mother is dying, and no one cares. The next Hospital took scans and found that She was eaten up with Cancer, breast, bone, and it had destroyed Her knee which now was twisted. It took less than five days until She was so bad She had to be heavily medicated due to the pain, and remained in a drug induced coma until She died less than one week later. Where is the Justice in that? My Friend still questions what She could have done different, so that Her Mother would have been treated better. The answer is that She did all that She could do, it was decided by Others, and Her Mother died a horrible, until the final hospitalization, painful death. I can still remember Her laying there saying Ohhhhh, Ohhhh, Ohhhhh, moaning, hurting, because of the carelessness and bad decisions and the lack of proper medical attention She encountered.
Another Family Friend's Mother was strong, and a very tall Woman. She worked very hard up into Her late 70's. She had a heart attack, and was admitted into the Hospital, she became worse and was sent to ICU. They said that Her organs began to shut down, and decided in ONE day to remove Her from life support. They would not have removed Someone with regular Insurance, and She had Medicare. They would not have removed a wealthy Person, to let Them die. They would not have removed the President's folks. They would not have removed any known prominent Person, that quickly. The Family was in complete and total Shock.
It is how I felt the first time I found out that so called Important People have a safety area to go to if the World is attacked, an area like the President will go to, because of who they are, while smucks like us will have to fend for Ourselves. Who gets to decide?
All of these issues have to do with how much money a Person has, and how Their lives are judged, and a value put on Their bodies, by Someone else. By the way if We let Someone die who is on Medicaid, or Medicare, that is less money for everyone to have to pay out in taxes right? No, wrong. We should not have value placed on us because of How much money a Person does, or does not have. Everyone should be treated equally. There have been too many elderly People not given the treatment They deserved. For example if Someone has a heart attack at Your home, did You know that the Ambulance People will continue to perform CPR until You can no longer see them. Yes it is simply a show for the Family. Was told that by One of them in a School I attended.
I could absolutely write a book, possibly many on the Injustices in the Medical Field. I hope that You will do some research into it and write a paper on it that very well might possibly change things.
God Bless

How about the injustice of women getting paid less than men for the same job?

How about the lower pay for female employees doing the same job? And women who get on the "mommy track" and never get promoted like their coworkers without children? That's very real... and it's improving, but it's still there, very much.
