I don't think they're the greatest together, I've never put them together because I don't like the combination.

Just the other day for a presentation I wore a brown turtleneck babydoll sweater top with a brown (with pink in it) wool sweatercoat over that, with some black pants. I also wore black flats. It looked just fine :-) depending on the outfit, you can wear black and brown together, but sometimes it just looks plain weird :-/

I suppose they could if they're done right, but I never try to pair them. Black shoes with a brown belt, a brown shirt with black slacks... ugh. I shudder to think about it. But then, someone with a lot more fashion sense than myself might have no problem creating a fabulous ensamble with those particular colors.

Absolutely! But a dark milk chocolate would be best with a jet black and maybe different materials would also work better. Like a clothing item which is jet black in leather with something dark brown in cotton-- something like that.

Absolutely not.

Brown goes well with earth tones, such as brown shoes with dirty white pants... but never with black.

Black goes well with other primary and secondary colors.

On a related note, always match your shoes with your belt's color.

you cannot wear everything in black and then choose a brown bag! there must be a balance... brown bag, with brown belt and shoes, for example. Improvise and use your style!

Hey, I don't think they go together that well. I think this because they are both so similar in color that they contrast each other and clash. But you seem like a fashionista. You'll make it work!
