Some are based on current events so they will always be new. Some are based on some pervert's little dream and there is an unlimited supply of those freaks. Some are the same thing just rephrased by people who did not see a previous posting with slightly different wording.

I hope that someday Yahoo will publish a book of "Questions and Best Answers" when they have a large enough collection.

there will always be new questions especially in the electonics and hi-tech categories. as new technology is released the technophobes and those who are not so technicaly minded will need help with the new gadgets. so they will either consult the instructions manual, and when that fails to give the answer they need then they may turn to a site like answers in the hope of getting help. as for yahoo stopping answers, my guess is they will eventually charge people to ask a question.

but then they would end up losing out as who is going to pay to to get answers from people who may or may not have the right answer.

and as for answers answering the questions as we all know it is unpaid knowledgable persons wasting there time by passing on what knowledge they know.

so the answers you get will either be informative and knowledgable or little or no help, and then there are real time wasters who just answer with "thanks for the points" a clear breach of answers guidlines but then that is life. all you can do is put up with them gaming for points or report them to answers as gaming for points. the choice is yours, personally i just put up with the gamers rather than report them but thats just me.

to sum up, no answers will never answer every possible question, so that makes your second and third questions redundant.

See you asked a different question now...and in the same way the next generation in future where many more discoveries are going to take place I am sure that there will be questions and yahoo will be useful..Good Question which makes us think about the future.Thanks...

I don't think it is possible. There will always be someone looking for an answer to some question. They can't all possibly ask the same question over and over again, can they? Oh wait, people do that on here now, don't they?

I have thought the same way as well and the answer will be no.

People will still consult this forum for answers to many different things - like the high tide in Baltimore Harbor at some date in the year 3,743.

Don't know about ALL, but there are some we have already answer 83 million times - just this week.

So we will never run out of questions.

When they thought years ago when every possible invention was invented was going to put a stop to it....what is happening right now....Still inventing stuff...same goes to the answers...c

um no Im sure that soemone will always ahve a question that hasnt been answerd. With technology increasing ppl will have questions about that. We will have questions about our changing world,our personal lives etc.
