Steve Erwins death...surprised or inivitable?

We are all so deeply saddened by his death!

Our entire family loved Steve and his wife and babies, too. But at times we noticed him doing extremely dangerous acts for the camera-

Surprised because he was young but thats the risk you take when you are put in dangerous situations. He left a great memory and will always be remembered in a positive light.

I must say I wasn't terribly surprised by his death, but I sure was sad. He was a man that truly lived his life to the fullest. He took on every adventure head-on without any hesitation. I was watching his marathon that Animal Planet had on yesterday, and I was blown away by all the amazing adventures he had, on land and at sea. He experienced more in his 44 years than most experience in a whole lifetime. I hope is wife and children continue to live life to the fullest, just the way Steve did.

It's IRWIN...Not Erwin. Geesh, with all the stuff on his demise you would think these obsessed people could spell the name right. This has gone way out of control. Irwin was merely a man not a god. Everyone will die sooner or later. Thousands died around the globe over the past couple of days, and IRWIN was just one of them. People are just literally going OVERBOARD with this one, like they did with Princess Di. You didn't know either of them, so be sad for the family and MOVE ON! Geesh, this story has gotten more ink than the War in Iraq, 9/11, and all the rest of the MORE IMPORTANT stuff that happens.

Good riddance! I was overjoyed to learn that the earth, good mother earth, had finally rid herself of such a pesky little bugger! He certainly died doing what he liked! Has anyone asked themselves if all the animals he mistreated and abused feel as overly dramatic about this idiot's death as the majority of brainwashed yahoo-ites do? One less moron trying to amuse brain dead individuals! You should be worried about the state of the union, being frisked and scanned at the airports, your dollars going to pot to satisfy the political hunger of yet another idiot, the outrageous taxes you pay for little in return, than about an Aussie impostor, posing as a lover of nature!

It was always going to happen, it was just a case of when. Really ironic that it should be a beautiful and non-aggressive fish that would kill him.

I would have guessed that he would have been bitten by an alligator instead of beingstung by a string ray... it's so sad!!

I always thought it would happen like this, because he just took to many chances.
