why do i seem to have such a promlem opening up to new people?

iam a very shy person and its hard for me to meet new poeple im always afraid of poeple not liking me but i finally come to realize there is no one better than me or im no better than anyone else so be yourself if they dont like you then they are the one with the problem not you..

Well first of all if it helps I don't think ur a stuck up person. I think that in order to talk to someone they need to talk to u too right. U cant just walk up to every body in school, class or whatever and just say hay, they might think ur crazy or something. What i try to do is if someone says hay then i reply, if i get a smile i smile back. Sometimes a smile is easier to give. u know. just be friendly with people who try to talk to u. Like i said a simple smile can do the trick.

With new people, you are just being cautious because you don't know what type of individual they are. Nothing wrong with that...I am the same way with new people and it is just a way to protect myself from getting hurt. So don't worry yourself.

you're insecure, self examination is the key and of course loving yourself are the first steps to overcoming being shy and insecure

you shouldn't worry about saying something embarrassing, its better to say something wrong and learn from that then to not say anything at all

dont hold back talkin to ppl if they dont like what ypur sayin you dont want to know them
