More tens than ones and fewer hundreds than ones.

and

3 more tens than hundreds and 2 more ones then tens

No multiple choice.. How odd.

The clues are right, come word for word from the book.

    You could plug basically any number into the hundreds place, and then figure another pair that would work however..

    Your clues cannot be right. The 1st clue says "more tens than ones" and the 2nd clue contradicts that: "2 more ones than tens". Could you double check that?
