Am i the only one who hates Napoleon Dynamite?

I don't like it either. People say you have to watch it a few times to find it funny. I think you have to be drugged up to find it funny. I couldn't possibly force myself to watch it again to find out if it was better the second time around - Can you say TORTURE!

People like it for it's randomness, I mean the strange lines, the strange characters, it is just a random movie, pointless and that is why people love it.

I'm sorry but I thought that was one of the funniest movies I have seen in quite some time. Campy? yes. Annoying? yes. But the characters reminded me of people I went to school with back in the 70's and I couldn't help but find it hilarious!

"Hate" is too strong a word. I didn't care for it, I think it was hyped WAY beyond its qualities, and I don't care if I ever see it again. My son loves it, so I had to see it with him...which, come to think of it, is how I get roped into seeing Will Ferrell films, too.

everyone told me it was hilarious, i thought it was the most stupidest movie so far. on the other hand i didnt even get to finish the movie it was that dumb.

I agree .. My daughter Couldnt Beieve I hated it so bad after she had just watched 3 times and bragged it was good :-s

I saw it once and I laughed, but then all of my friends raved about it, so we watched it so many freakin' times i got sick it and it's dumb *** characters

Oh, dynamite blows and so does this movie.

that's exactly what i said, it wasn't even funny, not even a story, could at least given it a story
