Is there any way to get past the nsw det internet blocking in schools?

is there some sort of proxy or something

if there is can you please tell me how to use it

    Search the internet for some proxy servers, and Under Tools -> Internet Options ->Connections->Lan Settings enter in the ip address of the proxy server.
