Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on how much it costs to move a mobile home?

I'm going to probably have to move a mobile home (someone new bought the property). I have heard very different answers. The home is a 14 by 70 & is a 1990. It will be moved less then-maybe 10 miles. Thank you.

Update:

It is Indiana & will be on country roads. Maybe (depending on which lot to move to) crossing-but not driving on 2 state highways.

It would cost you around three to five thousand see, they have to set it up after they move it which requires a lot of leveling and blocking under the trailer. If you are lucky enough you might could find someone to move it for you who has a flatbed truck since it is a singlewide it wouldn't be that difficult.

For one this size you'll pay approximately 3-5 hundred bucks. Normally, for this price the mover will set it up on the new property. Call a mobile home mover and get a true estimate.

it depends on where u are located and how far the trailer is being moved..a friend of mine a few years back moved one and it was like 5000 dollars...

Well, I think because it's older than 10 years, you won't be legally able to. Atleast thats how it is in Virginia.
