Being garnished in ga, can they garnish my business accts too?
Husband and I owned two cafes one went under right after 911, been avoiding debt on lease of 80K, they sued, my husband passed away, two weeks later the judgement was passed. Personal acct garnished in total 3K On Thursday. If Business acct is garnished I will not be able to pay taxes,bills,rent. Can they put me out of business, I am working so hard, I am so in debt. Personally 500K, business does not owe a penny.

If your business is a corporation they cannot touch it. Your business is probably a sole proprietorship, and they can touch that. I don't know if they can garnish your business accounts, but I think they can make you liquidate the business. I suggest you speak with a lawyer about finding a way to protect your business.
