What sort of fuel consumption (gas mileage) can I expect from a 2003/2004 Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab V6?
I want to buy one, but need to know if the V6 version does well on fuel. 2WD, please. Thanks so much!

US EPA ratings:
2003 Toyota Tacoma:

2004 Toyota Tacoma:

you can see what other owners are reporting for fuel economy at:
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/mpg/MPG.do?action=brows...
Natural Resources Canada Office of Energy Efficiency ratings:
http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/transportation/tools/compar...
to figure out what to expect for fuel economy in your real world driving, figure out what your current vehicle is getting for fuel economy, and compare by percentage to what it gets on the appropriate governmental test cycle. Then apply that same percentage to the governmental test cycle for the Tacoma that you're looking at, and you get you expected fuel economy.

My next door neighbor had this exact vehicle. He told me of a 20 miles per gallon delivery of a snow blower about 120 miles away. This was all interstate, (or freeway). I'm sure he got less, (even empty bed) around town.
