Like other posters here, I have to say that if you didn't want to clean up the mess, you shouldn't have gotten the animal in the first place. All animals have needs, and depend on their human companions to meet those needs. If you're not up to it, then find a responsible owner to take the rabbit off your hands. Otherwise, follow the advice of the other people, and litterbox train your rabbit. This will consist of some work on your part...meaning that you first have to figure out where your rabbit is pooping the majority of the time (usually there is just one or two corners that they will choose, but if you have a rabbit that is just plain pooping everywhere, it might take a little longer to train him). Once you have the spot figured out, that's where you want to put the litterbox...make sure you don't use a clumping cat litter...they will eat it, and it will kill them. Yesterday's News is a great litter of choice. Next, what you want to do is gather up as many droppings as you can, and put them in the litterbox. If you keep at this part for a week or two, you should notice your rabbit starting to get the idea that the box is where he's supposed to take care of his business...but consistency in cleaning up after him during the training time is absolutely necessary for him to learn. Good luck, and if you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me.

Rabbits can be litter-trained just like cats. Your rabbit is probably pooping in the same place all the time, right? Probably a corner? Buy a small animal litter box, fill it with litter (NOT cat litter, they'll eat it and it's poisonous to them, buy speciality litter like Critter Country), and he should poop in there from now on. If he's REALLY young (like he can fit in the palm of your hand) he's too young to be litter trained just yet and you'll have to wait a month or so.

That's just what rabbits do. If you're not willing to clean up after him, you shouldn't have gotten a rabbit in the first place.

You can't make your rabbit stop pooping.
all animals (including us) poop.
But like the previous poster said, rabbits can be toilet-trained so they just poop in a litter (like a cat)
And rabbits are very clean animals. They clean themselves constantly with their tongues.

Make your rabbit into a beautiful fur hat. If you believe that it is cruel to kill animals for fashion, sell your hat on the internet.
Or you can give it a lot of cheese in order to "plug" it.

If you can't handle cleaning up a bunny, why did you get one? Try litter box training him. And if that is just 'too much work' for you then find a better home for him. He deserves better.
