people are mean to me. i am a geek but know one knows me and they make fun of me. outside of school?

say, i am a really geeky person too (Freshman, in calculas). But i have prep friends, sporty athelete friends, nerd/geeky/computer nerd/star wars nerd friends. I feel fine, everyone accepts me. Everyone thinks i m cool because i know answers to math problems *^o^*

But if you really want to change into someone else, go ahead no one is stopping you. But remember one thing, be yourself, quote this one really dumb avril lavigne song: "you try to be cool, you look like a fool...."

that sums it up. just remember, all the "cool" and popular people one day are gonna step out of high school and step into society. then its time to up to us smart peeps to pity them and give them low-paying jobs.

it is difficult suggestion to adhere to, yet do not hassle about it. Watch the action picture "Romy and Michelles severe college Reunion". It has various actuality to it. Nerds and Geeks finally end up the efficient ones many of the time. From human being who's proud to be a geek and has had a efficient and pleasant existence for decades (after a not straightforward time in severe college).

Most definitely, just ignore them, they'll soon find out that life isn't as easy as in the movies. Just wait till high school, you'll meet lots of interesting people you'll be able to relate to.

They're insecure 'cuz of ur intelligence...so they make fun of u 2 avoid feeling dumb. All they can do is put on a materialistic look 2 "fit" in...& u...believe me...r unique. Don't let their taunts bother u. Best way is 2 ignore them...& find sum1 that sharez ur interestz.

Don't worry you sound like you are your own person and you probably have a strong personality and people will love you for that. Wait till when you get older I am sure you will have good friends.

try to ignore them but i know, it is not easy. just be nice to people and hang out with kids you know are nice

ignore them and when they see that you are not annoyed by them anymore, they will stop doing it... don't worry, you'll always find people like that...
