Try playing some matching card games.

Play the memory game with him take a deck of playing cards and lay them all face down have him turn over 2 cards at one time if they match pick them up, and if they don't put them bopth face down and try again. This exercise will build the memory up with time as you will need to remember which card was in which place to find a match. Have him match the numbers of the cards. I.E. 2 of hearts and 2 of diamonds is a match etc. I wish you and yours the best of luck.

A good balance is really important: - Work, Rest and Play

Make sure he gets enough rest (min 8 hours sleep per night). Balance this with interesting games that challenge and entertain. Remember that work (i.e. education) should be fun so that he participates. Don't pressure him - if it's fun, then he'll want to take part.

Also, remember that a good diet is vital - again, the key is balance. Keep the sugars and treats to a minimum. Plenty of fruit, veg, etc.

consistancy is often the significant I even have discovered. we've a son with ADHD and we used wot we referred to as the naughty spot. This became right into a place (i.e backside stair or matt, sq. of carpet and so on.) that our son was placed on 4 a minute for each twelve months of his age every time he bent the living house regulations to the severe. For the 1st few days it took each little bit of capability we had to maintain him on the naughty spot yet he promptly discovered and this deterent grew to grow to be very very clever. there is no elementary option yet what ever you compromise on bear in techniques 2 issues. in spite of what he has achieved or reported he's an exceedingly needey newborn and might't completely be to blame for his strikes, and secondly constantly be consistant for in case you dont, you will finally end up with an exceedingly insecure newborn. Wishing you all of the very terrific of luck from the united kingdom Dave

Flashcards and those fun matching card games, also putting things you want him to memorize to song, like the alphabet. Basic Yoga deep breathing techniques will also help clear the mind so he can focus at the task at hand. No distractions while he is studying will also help. Also, a good nights sleep and well balanced meal. It is hard to study if he is sleepy or hungry.

A good student has a good memory too. A smart student don't need a good memory, he use the logic more than the memory, so leave your son in his way...

he needs to be testing by a neurologist who can tell you the exact problems and what to do to help. Memory problems are a symptom of many diagnosis with learning problems, executive functioning problems, etc.

Don't rush him. Don't keep changing his enviornment. Don't scold him or yell at him. Let him relax and enjoy life, he will then begin to develop his capabilities to remember.
