Auburn 34, Georgia 17 (interest OF THE WEEK) USF 17, Rutgers 9 Houston 66, UCF 38 (No, it rather isn't basketball, UH has no protection) Penn State 13, Indiana 3 Michigan 32, Wisconsin 23 Texas 40-one, Baylor 6 Georgia Tech 21, Duke 13 Clemson 31, NC State 27 Virginia Tech 10, Maryland 3 (specific, that uninteresting) BYU fifty six, New Mexico 0 Idaho fifty two, Boise State 38 (No protection, Idaho pulls unexpected shocker) Stanford 38, USC 20 Maimi 24, UNC 8 Ohio State 40-one, Iowa 17 Florida 30, South Carolina 9 LSU 40 5, LTU 14 Arizona 34, Cal 10 Alabama sixteen, Mississippi State 12 TCU 23, Utah 6 Oklahoma State 21, Texas Tech 20 Pitt 40-one, Notre Dame 30 Oregon 17, Arizona State 13 So, no longer many upsets, yet assume the headlines to be approximately Idaho, a 31-element-underdog, winning on the Smurf Turf. The Vandals have a clean swagger this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Boise is so overrated, they are going to be revealed Saturday afternoon.

I wasn't. But I expected Texas to play closer at home. Ohio State either has a much better defense than most thought, or Texas has a much weaker offense than most thought. The absence of the Texas player in the secondary did hurt them and Tressel brillantly took advantage of that hole in the Texas secondary. Overall, a fabulous performance for the Buckeyes on the road.

I thought OSU would win and that Colt (who names their kid Colt??) McCoy would struggle against a team that is exponentially better than North Texas, but I didn't think they would get throttled like they did. I had a lot of doubts about Ohio St.'s defense, what with 9 new starters and all, but I think they're the team to beat right now. Just goes to show you, don't talk trash, especially about something you have no control over.

I thought for sure Texas would win, but was way wrong! I also have been saying Iowa would beat Ohio St. on Sept. 30, but after the way they played yesterday there is no chance. Still hate the Buckeyes, but I think you may be for real!

They didn't play anybody yet. Let them play LSU and we'll see how good Troy Smith is. Texas' quarterback hasn't even been weaned yet. LSU will be Number 1.

Ohio State had the better team last night. They came into Austin and won. I guess that makes us even.
