both the process require vaporization of water and are also irreversible processes..hence entropy associated with both the process is +ve
==>It increases

Entropy does not change for an overall system. You must define which part of the system you are looking at. Entropy isn't a measure of randomness either. It's a measure of the rate at which energy is diffused between two different systems.
When you cook rice, the heat is created from electrical energy that was created from some form of generation, and the heat was transferred into the water, raising the difference between it and the temperature of the air. Entropy has nothig to do with cooking the rice or the egg, except that heat is transferred to the rice and egg during the cooking process, then difused when they are brought into room temperature air. If the room were the same temperature as the water, it would still boil. But entropy does exist in this system, as the water boils, it is released into the air as hot vapor, and then it cools and condenses, raising the temperature of the air around the pot. Eventually the heat wil be turned off, and all the heat energy in the room will diffuse, returning to a slightly higher temperature than it was before the egg or rice were cooked. Even further through time, the room will equal the temperature of the rooms around it, and without air conditioning, they will all equall the temperature of the air outside.
So in both cases, enropy of the system, including components of heat source, pot, water, rice/egg, and air, is negative at first, raised raised while cooling and then taken away over time.

You expend a great deal of energy to add structure to the rice and the egg, so I believe the entropy decreases in this case for the finished product, but increases overall for the universe, as you've increased the entropy of the energy source you used to cook the food.

In case of boiling of egg, the entropy of egg increases due to the formation of complex protein structures.
In case of cooking of rice, the entropy of rice decreases as the water evaporates from the vessel.

DECREASE IN BOTH CASES, THE CHANGE IS IRREVERSIBLE DUE THE CHANGE OF STATE OF MATTER, DENATURATED PROTEIN IS NOT REVERSIBLE. In melted ice, the entropy is increasing and the state of matter is reversible when the temperature will be decreased.

IN BOILIN OF EGG,THE ENTROPY DECREASES DUE TO THE CHANGE IN STATE OF EGG FROM LIQ TO SEMI SOLID.. IN CASE OF BOILIN OF RICE,ENTROPY INCREASES COZ OF CHNGE IN STATE FRM HARD SOLID TO SUMWAT SEMI SOLID ND MOREOVER THE VOLUME OCCUPIED ALSO INCREASES.THUS WE CAN SAY ENTROPY INCREASES...
