The Tigers are fine.

They are just in a little funk right now. I am sure they will pull out of it by mid to late September.

Eihter way they still make the playoffs.

And, if by chance, they do not I am simply enjoying the season they are having.

No one thought they'd be in 1st place thise late in September.

I'd rather they go through slump now, then in late October.

Didnt the whinny sux go through a similar experience last season? Didn't they have a 15 game over Cleveland in August and almost blew it? Of course they did, but they somehow managed to save it and go on.

I see The Tigers doing the same thing.

It looks as if it will go down to the last weekend of the season (which favors Detroit).

We'll see what happens. But whatever happens I am as happy as a lark in mid june!

Don't worry, if they are a great team, they will win the division. They're just in a slump right now, every team goes through that at one point or another, they're not going to win every game.

I think the schedule they have had for the past month has been brutal. I hope they make the playoffs because it would be a shame to see them not make it with the year that they have had.

Not only will they win the division but I think they will be the only team in Baseball history to go wire to wire in first place twice.

well the kittens have to pick it up fast because the twins are only 2 games behind, and they dont even have the best record in the AL anymore. What killed them most was losing Polanco.
