The trade center had been attacked previously. We also had Oklahoma City. I do not believe that it is specifically against Bush, but then again perhaps there was an old vendetta against his father or something?

Often when there is a new president other leaders will try to "test" them and see just how far they can push them and what they can get away with.

When Bush is finished and there is a new president they will still be plotting attacks. Hopefully they will be stopped before the plans are put into action.

There are people who say that the White House did have information that this was possible. Perhaps another president would take the threat of a possible attack more seriously and stop if before it happens.

It is a rough call. All in all I do not personally blame Bush for Osama's actions. That is like blaming my mom because I broke the rules and then got hurt. The person to blame here are the terrorists.

Do you think they only planned that attack in a few years? Some of the hijackers had been taught in American aviation schools. 9/11 had been planned for a number of years, way before Dubya became president. Even before the real puppeteers were in power, Bush mark I, Rumsfeld, Cheney et al....

so your opinion of a "real attack " has to be atleast 3000 people ? wake up , there have been many attacks , 1 being this morning in syria , terrorsist are very real but i guess it will take another 9/11 for you to realize that

Because that was when the terrorists got everything they needed to attack the US in order. It didn't matter what president was in power at the time. These people don't care about such things as much as they care about going through with their killings!

What about USS COLE? Wasn't that a terrorist attack? That wasn't the only attack that Clinton ignored either, there were embassy bombings too...
