First tampons?

Just try to relax... if you are tense they won't go in.

I'm 19 and I don't even wear the slim tampons because it hurts so bad to put them in. Just keep trying, and use the thinnest ones you can find. I'm sure it would work for us eventually, I just haven't invested the time in it yet.

Your hymen probably has not been broken yet. That is a tissue that covers the vaginal opening. You will have to break through this or wait until you have sex. It is completely normal and generally everyone has one. My hymen had to get cut by the doc because it was so thick it practically covered the entire hole. Good luck!

MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT INSERTING AND LEAVING IN THE PLASTIC PART. I know when I was 11 I didn't know how to insert these things and I tried using the directions and it still didn't help. My mother never explained this stuff to me, so I had to learn by trial and error. Keep trying. Good Luck!

Try laying on your back w/ your legs spread. That may be a little easier. That is the way I use to insert mine when I was a young teen.

are you a virgin? if so, most doctors will tell you not to use a tampon.when i first started to use them , i did so becuase it helped on controlling the odor. i was a virgin and it took me like 2 months to figure out how to use them. and then i had a prob. with it "falling out". it too practice.

practice and u push the skiny thing inside of the big thingy and then u pull it out
