So i'm a freshman in college and i've never had a boyfriend before. I've had guys interested in me and i've been on a few dates, but have never had someone to call my boyfriend before. I've just never really had the time nor wanted a boyfriend. Do you think this is normal or what are your thoughts? Is this the normal age to start dating or did you start dating before?

A boy i've known for a while, who NEVER gives advice just told me that he didn't like the hair style i've had for about a year now, when everyone else says they like it.

I have a friend who lost her mom about 6 years ago, before i even knew her. Her parents were divorced, but both were remarried. She lived with her mother for the majority of her childhood. We're now in high school and every time we go to a football game she sings the school's song that she would have gone to instead of where she goes. She always just seems to be stuck in the past, and she visits her step dad each weekend, and once when we were having a party she had to leave early so she could make it there on time, so i suggested she just not go that weekend and she got extremely angry at me. I feel like no matter what i say to her, she'll get mad about it, if it deals with her family or her life.

And also, she got extremely mad at me earlier this week because of something i said about a family thing. So i'm the type of person who likes to talk things through and make sure they don't happen again, but when i saw her later that day she just ignored it and pretended like it never happened, when i was still angry with her. I feel like that's how she is in life, too, if something happens to her she ignores it instead of trying to confront it.

ok, so i really like this guy and he now knows that i like him. he's really nice and all, but he said the reason he couldn't ask me to a dance is because he really likes this other girl, but she's popular and he's not, but he's liked her for like 4 years! he said he still likes her A LOT. is there anything 'sane' i can do to change his focus or is there anything at all i can do? i really like him a lot, but like i said, he really likes this other girl. what should i do?

ok, so there is this guy at school i like, like REALLY like. the only problem is i don't have any classes with him and i see him in the hallway ALL the time. I'm like really obsessed with him for some reason, too. i wish i could do something to talk to him, but i can't. i think it would be way too obvious to him if i went up to him in the hallway randomly and introduced myself. we have no mutual friends, either. how do you think i should strike up a conversation with him or even get a chance to talk to him?

i just tried to get my tampon in like a few times and already wasted 2 tampons. I tried to put it in the hole that the blood was coming from (i even used a mirror), but it won't go it and it hurts a little bit, am i doing something wrong or just try again?
