Well I myself have 4 other siblings so I know what it's like, usually if it's an argument and it gets out of hand I just give up and say that they are right even if they're not, if it gets worse I tell my parents. If they are not around I'll ignore... but if they continue I usually just wait for them to give up... usually silence works the best, don't say anything and it will just bug her like mad... and if she insults you again just smile at her it should bug her. If she's like really bad or something and doesn't give up wait till your parents get home and get her in trouble.

"Well, at least I'm not a potty mouth" will work just fine, it's not exactly mean, but it's just saying what she's been doing lately...
