Why waste you're time and energy focus on something else does this person deserve all the time they are getting by you trying to figure it out? Let it roll off your back.

Do you think they might have said "picaninny?" that's a derogatory word used to insult a very dark-skinned person. Besides that I know of no other word close to being spelled like that in the dictionary. I am so sorry that she showed no more class than that, and forget it, and pray for her tonite. Smile

its not a word....picador is the closest and it means one of those guys who jabs the bull with a lance, like a prick from a lance or peccadillo - which means a slight offense. maybe she meant the first one just didn't know its full meaning. just consider she's rude and low class woman anything she did say about you isn't worth thinking about.

If I may offer a suggestion:

Years ago, in my wilder days, when somebody called me a name, I would respond with something like :

"You're right, and if you're smart, you'll remember that"

or

" It's a bad habit, I've been trying quit for years"

or

"It took you long enough to notice"

It always shut them up.

I'm not trying to be rude or racist, but if you are African American maybe she was calling you a pickaninny.

It's what they called little black children a LONG time ago.

Sounds like she was trying to call you a pickaninny;which is a racial slur.Obviously she was too trashy to even know the correct pronounciation....don't sweat it.

No such spelling....did find picayune (pik-ee-yoon) meaning insignificant person. Hmmmm.
