with a product called un-do. you can find it in just about any craft store. look in the scrapbooking aisle. it's an adhesive neutralizer. make sure you buy the one specifically for photos. it will not damage the picture. and it's great for removing stubborn lables as well.

If it is the "old type " photo, IE it has been printed from a negative, this will have been originally washed in clean water following printing. Take the photo and glass and place it in a bowl of cold water with just a very slight drop of washing -up liquid in it. Leave until the photo floats off the glass. Then dry the photo face up on a clean towel.

This method may work with a digital photo but depends on the printing ink being waterproof.

There have been 2 good answers so far, try a heat gun (light heat and only for a few seconds at a time) or freezing the picture and the glass, when cold (maybe an hour) it should come apart.

  • If you can, try to scan the picture at a high resolution through the glass. Give the glass a good cleaning first, hope this helps.

Sometimes some light heat will loosen the adhesive.

    Good LUCK

Goo Be Gone. It works on anything and you also need a blade like a scripto or something like that.

Soak in water, press flat to dry.
