  • pelvic pain during pregnancy and since delivery?

since giving birth to my baby 4 weeks ago, my pelvis has been worse than ever.. if i lie on my right side for too long it seems to dislocate and has to click back into place, its very painful, i get is sometimes if im just relaxing on the sofa etc.I also have pain on my right side hip and around my back, its just a general ache but wonder if that is linked to the pelvic problem.. I tried to get some physio when i was pregnant but couldnt.

will this get better on its own or am I going to be like this forever now?

    thanks

  • Steam steriliser but wonder about the residue water.. my question is..?

the bottle do not dry and leave some water in the bottles.

    1. I take the bottles out of the steriliser and fix them together, putting the lid on etc.. but may not use the bottle for a day or two by this time the water has been left inside the air tight container. Is this ok, or should i sterilise the bottle again?

    2. I have some little powder tubs, I sterilise these but as they also contain water when they have been cleaned I am unable to put formula in them without it getting stuck on the container. Any suggestions? Is it ok to dry them with kitchen towel after they have been sterilised?

    3. How long do items stay sterilised in the steriliser?

    4. I have read alot of people who mention the tommie T steriliser and count down, my instrustion book mentions this but doesn not have a digital display just a button on the front. Is mine an old model?

    thank you for your help

  • UK law on single embryo transfer - has this changed yet?

apparently my friend has been told that she can have only one top grade embryo put back but if the embryo is less than a top grade she can have two put back.. I thought the law in the UK had already changed for new fertility treatment that only single embryo transfer is allowed. She is 36 years old so im not sure if age is a factor

  • Do you like the feeling of Braxton Hicks?

I have been getting BH for a good few weeks now, mostly evenings, im now 36 weeks pregnant. I actually like the feeling when my tummy gets tight and pulls but have started to also get some discomfort / mild pains at the same time as the BH.

Does anyone else like the feeling of BH? I find it gives me some relief, sort of taking the weight of the baby

  • Dont want visitors at home when baby arrives....?

I have told my husband i dont want visitors at home when our baby arrives, his family (parents) are very intense and will use it as an excuse for 'something to do' Its what they say when they visit others on a saturday or sunday when they have nothing more interesting to fill their time.

They talk over each other, have two seperate conversations with me at the same time, im expected to listen and answer both at the same time, They have no idea about outstaying their welcome. I will be breastfeeding and dont want them learing all over me.

I asked my husband to tell them they can visit at the hospital (its a 1.5 hour visiting limit) this suits me. It gives us time to settle at home with our new baby, He has told them no visitors at home for the first week!! this has annoyed me. The last time they came to our home was approx 2.1/2 years ago and if i remember it was to do with secretly borrowing money from my husband. (but he told me)

Recently his mom wrote a letter to him private and confidential and left it at work asking for money urgently, she left her bank details for him to pay the money into the account assuming he was going to give it to her. She never pays money back! She told my husband in the letter not to tell me because I dont like her borrowing money, obviously because she doesnt pay it back, and the fact we have a baby on the way why should we give them money. They both work full time. we have worked out they have had approx 30k off people over the past couple of years and never paid a penny back. They have also had their own money from different payout compensation amounting to approx 50k over the past 7 years and spent every penny on them self (sorry they gave us £200 that they owed us at the time)

Him mom get coldsores and is always hugging or kissing when ever she sees me!! drives me mad, i told her once that i had one so that she wouldnt touch me and her reply was its ok i have my myself and flung her arms around me. Im worried out baby will get them.

They bought us some lovely gifts for baby, we asked for 100% cotton and ended up with some 100% acrylic jumper/cardigans!!! is it ungrateful to moan about such things. I wont put them on the baby so they have wasted their money.

Am i being unreasonable? I dont want them in our home,

    sorry its soo long

  • I had a fixed rate mortgage for 2 years BUT payments on yearly statement go up and down - why?

I received a year end statement and it shows monthly payments made along side that shows interest paid and payments toward the amount for the property. My question is.. why if its fixed rate does some months show higher amounts and other months show lower amounts on interest and loan payments but the actual monthly payment stayed the same. I am confused... Thanks

  • Can a company get away with giving a fixed term 12 month contract over and over without any breaks?

If they can, and they do not provide sick pay but provide holiday exactly the same as permanent staff. what rights do fixed term staff have?

  • my contract is 12 months fixed term contact part time, am i entitled to sick pay?

I have had a couple of days off sick over the past few months, well two days last month and again I had to take a couple of days off sick this week but I am not going to be paid, I do not have enough money to pay my rent. Is the company right to not pay me any sick pay?

I had 4 days off last week because my daughter was sick and the company wouldnt pay me anything for that week either!

If they are right to not pay me, how can i make up the loss of earnings, can I claim anything from the benefit department?
