pelvic pain during pregnancy and since delivery?
since giving birth to my baby 4 weeks ago, my pelvis has been worse than ever.. if i lie on my right side for too long it seems to dislocate and has to click back into place, its very painful, i get is sometimes if im just relaxing on the sofa etc.I also have pain on my right side hip and around my back, its just a general ache but wonder if that is linked to the pelvic problem.. I tried to get some physio when i was pregnant but couldnt.
will this get better on its own or am I going to be like this forever now?
thanks

It soounds like Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. The ligaments in your pelvis relax to accommodate the baby and in readiness for birth. Sometimes they relax too much, and cause pain and discomfort like you describe.
It will go away on its own - it's not usually too serious (sometimes it can affect how you give birth, but you obviously managed ok).
