due to have my baby in the next 4 weeks - feeling apprehensive?

im in my 36th week of pregnancy and feeling really apprehensive about contractions etc. Worried I wont cope with the birth and am anxious. my husband is very supportive and will be with me every step of the way but i still feel scared. Anyone else feeling the same?

I have very bad pelvic girdle pain that i have had since very early pregnancy but the past few days its got worse. I am worried I am going to damage my pelvis during the birth and be just as unable to walk after the baby arrives. any tips?

I was the same when I was pregnant, I think everyone feels like that when they are due to give birth but you can cope with birth trust me it is not as bad as you think it is going to be. I mean yes it does hurt but you can cope and will be perfectly fine :)

I felt the same way my husband got mad at me today and moving to a different state 14 hours away from here and with 3 weeks left I am just heart broken and left me I am due in 3 weeks, however I have hired a doula to help me cope with my worries on contractions/labor and delivery it is a good thing you should do the same she will also help your husband assist you durring the process. I am alone I dont have anyone but my doula my family and I do not have a good relationship si it is very hard for me but I am thinking positive and the best for my baby.

you will be fine. its not as bad as people make it seem. i had the same pelvic pain and i promise you i can walk fine now, i actually feel great.

as for coping with the birth, just relax and don't be afraid to ask for anything you want. i stayed at home as long as i could before going to the hospital which was great because dealing with contractions at home and being able to walk around was much better than sitting in a hosptial bed.

im 36 weeks also...and at first I was nervous, but after taking a childbirth class last weekend, I am at ease and ready for birth. Try googling some breathing techniques and labor & delivery techniques and practice with your hubby. it should ease the anxiety
