UK law on single embryo transfer - has this changed yet?

apparently my friend has been told that she can have only one top grade embryo put back but if the embryo is less than a top grade she can have two put back.. I thought the law in the UK had already changed for new fertility treatment that only single embryo transfer is allowed. She is 36 years old so im not sure if age is a factor

I have been currently looking into all of this I am in the UK and having more than one transferred is up to the patient, they advise its up to you but they say to increase your chance of a healthy pregnancy having just the one is better, obviously you are increasing your chances by having two but more chance of miscarriage or complications as multiple births carry greater risks. age is a factor if you are egg sharing then you have to be younger than 35. Hope that helps.

more that 1 can be transfered. sometimes it depends on the size of the lady. my friend was told only to have 1 embryo put in as they felt she was too small to risk a multiple pregnancy.
