why is yahoo working on this site so much...?

yet they never think to make those free gifts they promise on the faq! thanks guys, not interested in the wallpaper... what else ya got? free t-shirt? brontosaurus?

Update:

ok guys, i recognize that it is a free service... but i think that they should offer the service that they advertise. if they go to the effort of making a table to tell me i win a free doodad for a certain number of points... you don't care that they never return to make it so? nice!

no wonder so many folks keep voting for bush... "he says he's doing a great job! you think our president is a liar???!!! you're a traitor!!"

reality matters still doesn't it?

Update 2:

thanks aslan... you're right. they just quit advertising them.

i'm always prepared to bite the hand that feeds me, trollhair. especially if it switches the pork chop for a piece of cardboard....

Actually, this is still a "beta" site, so it's a work in progress. The "alpha" test site launched in Aug, 2005, and the "beta" version on Dec 7, 2005. I think it's good that they are looking to make improvements & taking into consideration the input from users.

I would also like to see some other "rewards" as you progress up the levels. If you have any suggestions, you may want to add your thoughts in the "forum" via the button on the upper right.

Yahoo is trying hard to incorporate subliminal messages into the site so they are distractiing everyone , and as far as the gifts go to answers UK site they are working for a big screen TV at this time!

Because they want too improve the site. If you check on the points and scoring system you'll see that they took the prizes off.

Why do you care? Answering questions isn't about the points... it's about helping people.

You are very ungrateful. They are offering you a FREE service and you complain.

They need to keep the sponsers and ad people happy.
