smoking = 16, but i think they are busy changing it to 18

I think marriage is either 16 or 18 with your parent's/legal guardians consent.

Signing any type of contract = 21 otherwise your parents have to sign with you.

That depends. The legal age of majority is 21 I believe. But citizens are permitted to engage in various activities at different ages. Marriage would be over sixteen I believe, leaving home wouldn't be restricted by age, contracts would in some cases when the person is still classified as a ward - under the guardianship of an adult... It all depends on what exactly you want to do.

You have to be 21 to sign a contract. 18 to do anything else except smoke.

It is 18 almost everywhere, if you are talking about drinking clubbing, marriage. 16 if you are a smoker and 21 for banking, etc
