since you have an account at yahoo, u can just open it at yahoo messenger...

You already are once you sign up for yahoo. Just go download YIM and sign in.

Download messenger from

http://messenger.yahoo.com/

and login using ur yahoo id and password, then add ur friends ids to ur messanger contact list. and when ever they come online their buddy status will automatically change and u can chat with them.

just sign in use yahoo account

you can use the account you're using right now at yahoo answers.
