I have a Windows XP question?
Up until a few days ago I have had a computer with Windows ME on it. I had gotten used to it. But now I have on with Windows XP and I've never used XP so I am trying to figure out how do you tell how much of your memory is free and how much is being used. I knew how to do it on ME but I cant figure out how to do it on XP. Please help. Thanks.

go to your start menu
to the right you should see "my computer"
select that
now it will open a window with all the drives on your computer
right click on the "C" drive and choose "properties"
a little pie chart with your used and free space should show up

Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete, select 'Task Manager', and then select the 'performance' tab. Look at the 'PF usage' area, and that will show how much is being used.
If you want to know how much memory you have all together, right-click 'my computer' and select 'properties'. That'll tell you.
