if it really is the "end of times", then it would have started a lot sooner than 1914. the earth has been around for millions of years, so hundreds of years ago would also have to be considered the "end of times". Oh, by the way, the industrial revolution was quite a few years before 1914! lol.

The last Apocalypse took place in the year 1000. Every pagan nation in Europe turned to Christianity in a very short time span. It was in every way an Apocalypse for the old Gods. I hope we see another Apocalypse . The old guard the old ways are going to be replaced with a new TRIBE. The human race will let go of this Idea that we are differ ant tribes or differ ant races. We will become a human race. This of course will be horrible to those who cling to hatred and ignorance. It will be an Apocalypse. Democracy freedom no class systems equality. I dont think the people who are clinging to the past for clues or old mythologies that no longer connect to the soul have a clue as to what is in store for them.

So when the United states looked out to the rest of the world to spread Democracy in 1914. When the united states became A imperial power. to spread democracy and freedom the Apoclypse started for those who cling to tyranny.

Maybe the industrial revolution in your hometown started in 1914, but in other places it happened earlier. I'd say that by 1850 England was in the midst of industrialization.

There is a great deal of interest today in the subject of our Lord's return. The world's problems are almost overwhelming—and not just because of the wars and conflicts that grab the headlines. Every day, millions of people all over the world face a host of other disasters: famine, disease, economic chaos, racism, ecological and natural catastrophes, and so forth.

Do these mean Jesus' second coming is very near? It certainly may be, because He indicated that just before He comes again the world 's problems will increase. He declared, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places" (Matthew 24:7). While these problems are part of every age, the Bible says they will increase in intensity toward the end.

The only final answer to our problems is Jesus Christ, for when He comes again, He will rule the world with perfect justice and peace. In that day, the Bible says, "He will reign ... with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever" (Isaiah 9:7).

The Bible cautions us against trying to set the date for Jesus' second coming. But it also urges us to be ready and watchful "while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13). Are you ready for that day? You can be, by committing your life to Christ today.

That sounds a bit like JW teaching. The great flu pandemic, WW1, League of Nations, etc. No man nows ther day or hour and while we are taught stay vigilant, looking toward the end can easily cause us to miss the beauty of Gods many blessings of thre day.

End Times is a catch-all. You don't date it. The End Times began with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. "This is what Joel said would happen in the end times"

We are still in the age of Grace. When that ends, we go into the age of judgment... read your bible to find out what comes then.
