sounds like a grounding problem the wiring harness under the wiper motor may be rubbing against the air filter or some where rite there
as far as the other peoples answers dodges have body control modules not that Pontiac some of the other ones do your computer doesn't control it either ant it ain't the battery terminals it could be a lose ground but its probably the harness rubbing through
you will probably end up taking it in though
good luck

This car probably has a loose wiring harness somewhere or a bad ground wire or connection. In a car thirteen years old, rust is possibility and may have eaten through a wire. I realize these have plastic bodies, but they have a steel frame that does in fact rust.

My guess....Corrosion on battery terminals.
More than likely the positive post and teminal.
You need to have the scale removed between the post and terminal. Not just the outside.

may be a bcm (body control module ) or a wiring problem i would suggest to take it ot a repair shop unless you have some real good diagnostic skills

you have a wiring problem. have it looked at by a dealer, could be a fuse, or it could be a single burnt wire.
