Many people already gave you good answers. Exercising such as jogging, sit up, weight training, swimming, biking, walking, etc.
How about some fun one? Dancing. You can try social dancing, ballroom dancing, hip hop dancing, DDR, choreograph dancing, etc.
How about martial art? Or team sports like soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, anything that involves a ball?
Exercise, and while you are doing it, have fun!
Get in the game!

try doing cardio for 30minutes for 5 days a week-for me it is jogging or whatever gets my heart pumping. then use a ball to do your ab work on-reps of 20/set then incease the number of reps/set when you feel more comfortable. do regular crunches on a mat, crunches on the mat with your feet up at 45 degree angles and reverse crunches and do not forget to target the obliques. when you do the regular crunches on the mat, start adding a medicine ball between your legs-lets say 3-4 pounds for the beginning.the ball provides more resistance and makes you work harder and smarter. when you do the crunches also do them slowly so that you can feel th eburn but not to slow-set your own pace and tempo. i would recommend doing 80-100 crunches on each target area. the reverse crunches are such a pain but give you good old fashioned results if you are disciplined. also, try swimming, taking the stairs and not the elevator, parking the car further away than usual when you go shopping, walking your dog if you have one, watching what you eat as well as doing weights to lose fat and build muscle. try to cut down on the sugars or the sodas, try eating healthier-that does not mean a Big Mac every day for lunch-but once in a while indulge in the foods you love. drink lots of water and if you read the labels and sort of make some changes in the way you live it is said that one person can lose 2 pounds a week with discipline, working out and eating a balanced meal-that means proportions-and eating in moderation.good luck to you

Go to your local library and see if they have the book "8 minutes in the morning for a flat stomach" (or something like that) from Jorge Cruise. It really worked for me. The exercises are easy, don't take long to do, and help rev you up for your day. I noticed a difference in about a week!
Good Luck

stop eating all carbs, since you are diabetic im sure you have heard this before, crunches for the upper tummy and for below the belt, leg lifts, lift both legs about 12 inches off the floor , hold for a count of ten, and lower slowly, repeat as often as you can, and do it more than once a day, keep at it and you will be able to do more of them at a time. and you should see results.

My sister told me this worked. It's called Rania's belly dancing tapes or sumthing, you might have heard of it.She said just after a few days of dancing she could see some real good results. The tapes are cheap and it is not tiring at all.
