Is Error 605 really my problem or my ISPs?

BTW: for weeks I can be online about 30 minutes then it times out on every page; I disconnect and re-connect. I Do have dialup; no DSL where I am in the booth in the back in the alley behind the dumpster.
I was hoping for more replies; although, I had already done all that was suggested...
clearly my husband will have to get involved and I hate it when that happens.

Dialup is prone to frequent disconnects! Usually, dialup checks to see if there is internet activity and if it sees none for any length of time it will disconnect. An old trick I used was to run my outlook express and have it check my mail every 5 minutes.
