I recently bought an Apple Macbook with MacOS. Can I fully reformat to Windows OS or make it do a dual boot?

Update:

I have been a Windows user all my life and find it quite difficult to use the MacOS. But I am also hesitant to totally remove it. If possible, I want it to be a dual boot laptop so that I can use Windows for my daily activities and learn the Mac at the same time.

Download BootCamp. BootCamp will allow you to dual boot with Windows XP Home or Pro (but only with Service Pack 2, full install). You may need to update your firmware, as well. BootCamp will let you know if you need to do so. Here's the link. You can't remove OS X entirely. The Macintosh boots using Intel's new EFI technology, something that Microsoft Windows does not support. Even Windows Vista will not support this emerging technology. Once you get the hang of things and learn about all the wonderful things a Mac can do, I'm sure you love OS X. Here's another link to some OS X tips and tricks.

On the more recent intel macs, they created a new program that would allow you to dual boot windows, but macs suck anyways so it's not worth it.
