Not really sure of your question.. Freedom of speech applies to anyone living in a democratic society.. NOT, for example, in Saudia Arabia, North Korea, China, etc

The freedom of speech guaranteed in the Bill of Rights is not absolute. It is weighed against public safety. The classic example of shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theater when there is no fire clearly demonstrates one limitation. Your freedom of speech does not allow you to put others at risk for your entertainment.

Another limitation is what is called "provocative" language. Saying something deliberatly offensive to get an unacceptable reaction, as opposed to a legitimate disscussion. "Inciting to Riot" would be an example.

You have the right to express your thoughts. However, you have no right to expect that your thoughts will be universally liked. Reality will prevail. If you choose to make inflammatory statements, expect someone to get upset. If you decide to start shouting "Hail Hitler!" in a Jewish community, don't be surprised if you get hurt.

It is easy to respect someone's right to freedom of speech when they are saying something you agree with. It becomes more difficult when someone is saying something that you disagree with, or find offensive.

Do remember, that freedom of speech does not mean anyone is required to either listen, or agree.

Originally freedom of speech was to allow you to speak out against your government, not really to say whatever you want.

Thats why we have so many problems, because music and movies have decided that they can say whatever they want.

So now look at our society, they are rich and live in there own nice world, and we deal with what they created.

but, since we have people who are wrong and say wrong things, you have a a right to defend yourself by saying the truth back.

So, as long as your speech is truth, then it's ok.
